Margaret A. Spade

Margaret A. Spade, age 70 of Harbor Beach passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021 at the Lakeview Extended Care Facility in Harbor Beach. She was born on September 15, 1950 in Harbor Beach Howard and Evelyn (Westfall) Reiche. She married James Spade on December 16th, 1993 in Bad Axe. He preceded her in death on March 6, 2005.

She is a graduate of Harbor Beach High School and was a cook for many years at local restaurants. She enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking, puzzles and quilting. She is a former member of the Lions Club. 

Margaret is survived by 2 sisters: Sharon Wells of Harbor Beach, Susan (Richard) Pellegrino of Bad Axe. One Niece- Kristin Sklba, 2 nephews- Brian Wells and Jason Gentner. 2 Great nieces- Trinity Sklba and Chloe Gentner. 1 Great Nephew – Charles Gentner. She was preceded in death by her husband, James and a sister, Karen Reiche. 

Funeral Services for Margaret A. Spade will be 5pm Monday, March 15, 2021 at the Zinger Smigielski Funeral Home of Ubly. The Reverend Ean Green will preside. Visitation will be Monday from 1 until 5pm at the funeral home. Memorials have been requested to the Family Discretionary Fund.
