Gary Richard Weaver

Mr. Gary Weaver, 72 of Forestville passed away Sunday, August 18, 2019 at Autumnwood of Deckerville.

He was born on May 30, 1947 in Detroit to the late Richard and Patricia (Walsh) Weaver. He married Julia Dauterman on April 25, 1997 in Port Huron. She preceded him in death on July 11, 2019.

Gary was a graduate of Warren High School. He worked as a mold maker for various manufacturing plants in the Detroit area. He was a resident of Forestville for 12 years. Gary enjoyed walking and watching freighter ships of the lake. He also enjoyed watching Tiger baseball and Red Wings hockey games.

Gary is survived by his children, Nick Weaver of Lapeer, Jamie (Robert) Gould of Brighton, Brendan (Amy) Weaver of Grosse Pointe Farms, Damion (Christina) Weaver of Milford, Kendra Giefski of Arizona, Justin Weaver of Milford, Ryan Weaver of Highland; three step children, Jeffery, Karen and Stephen; 18 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren; one brother, Raymond (Laura) Weaver of North Branch.

He was preceded in death by his son, Brady Weaver and his sister, Karen Weaver.

Gary will be laid to rest at 11:00 am Friday, August 23 in East Delaware Cemetery on M-25.
