Mr. Frank C. Plevnia, 91 of Harbor Beach, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at his residence.
Frank was born in Harbor Beach on October 4, 1928 to the late Edward and Romanda (Kucharczyk) Plevnia Sr.
Frank was a graduate of a country school. When he was young, he started to farm with his family and then continued on his own until he retired in 1999. He was a lifelong parishioner of St. Isidore Parish, St. Mary Catholic Church in Parisville. Frank enjoyed playing cards, watching TV and reading the paper.
Frank is survived by his nieces and nephews; Pamela (Gordon) Sullens of AZ, Patricia (Stephen) Ulfig of Bad Axe, Mary Plevnia (Tim Brown) of NC, Dr. Julie (Col. Anthony Hartsook) Plevnia of CO, Debra (Dave) Armbruster of Pigeon, Claude (Denise) Puvalowski of Ruth, Loraine (Bill) Goretski of Port Austin, Diane Puvalowski of Bad Axe; one sister-in-law, Virginia Plevnia of Bad Axe.
Frank was preceded in death by one brother, Edward Plevnia Jr; one sister, Mary Ann Puvalowski; one niece, Jean Helewski; one brother-in-law, Bernard Puvalowski.
Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 am Saturday, December 7 at St. Mary Catholic Church, St. Isidore Parish in Parisville. Rev. Christopher Coman of Holy Apostles Parish in Ruth will officiate. Frank’s final resting place will be in the St. Mary Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Saturday, December 7 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Parisville from 9:30-10:45 am.
