Mr. Dale J. Bambach, 77 of Ubly, passed away August 26, 2018 at McLaren Thumb Region in Bad Axe.
He was born on February 22, 1941 in Bad Axe to the late John Jacob and Margaret M. (Smith) Bambach. He married Anna Mae Grifka on September 28, 1963 at St. John Catholic Church in Ubly.
Dale was a graduate of Bad Axe High School. He worked at Carmet Manufacturing for 35 years. He was a parishioner of St. John Catholic Church, Good Shepherd Parish in Ubly and worked there for 10 years as the grounds keeper and maintenance man. He was an honorary member of the Ubly Fox Hunters Club for many years. He enjoyed hunting and camping, welding and metal work and stock car racing. Dale truly enjoyed spending time with his family and his dog, Chico.
Dale is survived by his wife of 54 years, Anna Mae of Ubly; four children, Daro Bambach, Wendy (Jeff) Maikrzek and Christian (Shawn) Bambach, all of Ubly, Shannon (Kevin) Kosiba of Troy; seven grandchildren, David, Gabrielle, Darrick, Cole, Matt, Jack and Joshua; one great grandson, Maverick; one brother, Marc (Terry) Bambach; two sisters, Mrs. Linda Wolschlager and Cindy (Tom) Dubs; many nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Per Dale’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. There will be a private graveside service held at a later date.
