Chad Lee Schumacher

Mr. Chad Lee Schumacher, 40 of Ubly passed away Thursday, September 26, 2019 due to injuries sustained in a car accident in Sanilac County.

            He was born on February 13, 1979 in Bad Axe to Michael Schumacher and Diane Heiden. He never married.

            Chad was a 1997 graduate of Ubly High School. He worked with his dad for a while doing construction. He received his certificate from the Culinary Institute of Michigan. He also worked for many dairy farms in the area. Chad enjoyed cooking, visiting and video games.

            Chad is survived by his father, Michael Schumacher of Ubly; his mother, Diane (James) Kramer of Ruth; one brother, Dan (Cherie) Schumacher of FL.; one sister, Michelle (Rod) VanErp of Ubly; one step-brother, Tim (Sara) Kramer of Cass City; one step-sister, Laura (Chris) Eilers of Manistee; one half brother, Branden Schumacher of GA.; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

            The memorial Mass for Chad will be 11:00 am Friday, October 4 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Holy Apostles Parish of Ruth. Rev. Christopher Coman, pastor will officiate.

            Visitation will be on Friday at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church from 10:00 am until the Mass at 11:00.
