Mrs. Audrey Mae Osentoski, 83 of Ubly, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Meadow Lane Assisted Living in Bad Axe.
Audrey was born on May 5, 1939 in Bad Axe to the late Earl and Genevieve (Mausolf) Kuntze. She married Jerry Osentoski on October 25, 1958 at St. Columbkille Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on December 2, 2004.
Audrey was a 1958 graduate of Bad Axe High School. She was a homemaker and farm wife and was also employed at Arjay Manufacturing for almost 18 years. Audrey enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, countryside walks, listening to music and truly cherished time spent with her family and grandchildren. Audrey was a devout Catholic who regularly prayed the rosary and watched the Catholic channel.
Audrey was a resident at Meadow Lane Assisted Living in Bad Axe for the past seven years. She took great pride in leading group exercise sessions. Her family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff for the excellent care and love she was given during her residency.
Audrey is survived by her son, Mark (Linda Rogers) Osentoski of Attica; one daughter, Tammy (Andrew) Pasterz of Saginaw; daughter-in-law, Jennifer (Robert) Reilly of Charlotte, North Carolina; grandchildren, Aaron (Kyle Stillwell) Osentoski of Westerville, OH, Elliott (Elizabeth) McKnight of Mt. Pleasant, Oliver McKnight of Sanford; one great granddaughter, Margot McKnight.
She was preceded in death by one son, Brian Osentoski and one grandson, Eric Osentoski.
The Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 am Saturday, December 10, 2022 at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, Good Shepherd Parish, Ubly. Rev. Robert Pare, pastor of St. Roch Catholic Church will officiate. Audrey will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Jerry, in the St. Columbkille Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly on Friday, December 9 from 4:00-8:00 pm and Saturday at St. Columbkille Catholic Church from 10:00-10:45 am.
