Alice J. Warczinsky

Ms. Alice J. Warczinsky, 69, of Deckerville passed away on Tuesday August 31, 2021, at Autumnwood of Deckerville under hospice care.

Alice was born on August 8, 1952, to the late Arnold and Margaret (Turk) Warczinsky.  Alice graduated from Deckerville High School.  She then continued her education for nursing in Midland.

She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at various facilities in Saginaw and Sanilac counties.  Her hobbies included watching movies, listening to music and traveling.

Alice is survived by her sister Ruth Warczinsky of Bay City and sister-in-law Marilyn Warczinsky of Minden City; special family friend Sue Portwood of Bay City; a niece Caren (Scott) Puvalowski of Ubly and a nephew Steve (Denise) Warczinsky of Minden City; great-nieces and nephew Melanie, Ashley and Courtney Puvalowski and Isaac and Samantha Warczinsky. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant sister Janice, and a brother, Lorne.

The funeral service for Alice will be 12:00 pm Friday, September 3rd at St. John Lutheran Church, Palms.  Pastor Henry Hales will officiate.  Burial will be in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Palms.

Visitation will be on Friday at St. John Lutheran Church in Palms from 10:30 am until the service at 12:00 pm.
