Gary D. Ross Sr.

Mr. Gary D. Ross Sr., 70 of Ubly passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Covenant Cooper Hospital in Saginaw.
He was born on February 28, 1948 in Argyle to the late Donald and Blanche (Riehl) Ross.
Gary attended the Freiburg Country School. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for General Motors in Pontiac. He also worked for Huron Tool in Lexington and retired from there. Gary enjoyed the Lions, Tigers and Pistons, hunting and fishing.
Gary is survived by his lifelong companion of 40 years, Ruth Ann Genoff; one son, Gary D. Ross Jr; one daughter, Elizabeth (Henry) VanReyendam; two sisters, Patricia Ann (Robert) Sutton, Ruth Ann Osentoski; one stepson, Sam (Tracy) Genoff; four grandchildren, Derek (Ciara) Genoff, Jenna Genoff, Henry and Nickolas VanReyendam; one great grandson, Harlan.
Gary was preceded in death by one brother, Clifford Ross.
The funeral service for Gary will be 3:00 pm Saturday, March 24 at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly. Rev. Charles Hammond, pastor of Good Shepherd Parish in Ubly will officiate.
Visitation will be at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly on Saturday from 12:30-3:00 pm.
