Glorie Ann Sadro, 52 of Bad Axe, passed away Monday morning, July 10, 2017 at the Huron County Medical Care Facility in Bad Axe after a short illness. She was born July 1, 1965 in Bad Axe, MI to the late Eugene and Marlene (Kirsch) Gosdzinski. Glorie was a 1983 graduate of Ubly High School. She was a parishioner at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, St. Hubert Parish in Bad Axe. She was employed at McDonald’s restaurant for over 30 years. She enjoyed all animals, particularly birds, gardening and watching TV, especially the Detroit Tigers. Glorie cherished time spent with her family, her cat, Chloe and dog, Sadie. Glorie is survived by three sons, Bradley Sadro of Bad Axe, Quincy Sadro of Kalamazoo, Landen Sadro of Bad Axe; two sisters, Diane Brown and her husband, Mark, of Bad Axe, Darlene Pionk and her significant other, Jeff Lipskey of Ubly; two brothers, David Gosdzinski and his wife, Janel of Ubly, Mark Gosdzinski and his wife, Christina of Ubly; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Jerome Pionk and nephew-in-law, Robert Dallas. Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 am Thursday, July 13 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, St. Hubert Parish in Bad Axe. Rev. Robert Howe, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Mary Cemetery in Parisville. Visitation will be at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly on Wednesday from 2:00-9:00 pm and Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 10:00-11:00 am. There will be a parish vigil service Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorials have been requested to the Family Discretionary Fund.
