Frank L. Glaza, 66 of Cass City passed away unexpectedly after a short illness on Monday, November 21, 2016 at his sister’s home in Ubly. He was born on September 3, 1950 in Bad Axe to the late Edward and Viola Edna (Bukoski) Glaza. Frank was a 1968 graduate of Ubly High School. He graduated in 1990 from Saginaw Valley State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration majoring in accounting. Frank lived for a time in Florida and Houston before returning to Michigan. He was formerly employed at Walboro of Cass City, Active Feed of Pigeon and Michigan Sugar Company in Caro. Frank liked to play cribbage, listened to radio programs and read. He truly enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially bird watching and mushroom hunting. He was a big fan of Thumb area high school football. Frank is survived by his four siblings, Vern (Dianne) Glaza of Ubly, Katherine Bukoski of Millington, William (Betty) Glaza of Ubly and Theresa (Steven) Murdock of Ubly; 10 nieces and nephews, Barbara (Doug) Kane, Edna Joann Glaza, Jeff (Tammie) Bukoski, Colleen Bukoski, Scott Bukoski, Greg (Tonya) Bukoski, Bradley Glaza, Bryan (Breann) Glaza, Patrick Murdock, Megan Murdock; 8 great nieces and nephews, Cadeja and LaQuasha Kane, Joshua Bukoski, Paul Bukoski, Ana, Cassandra, Ian and Emily Bukoski. He was preceded in death by one brother-in-law LaVern Bukoski. A memorial service for Frank has been planned for April 1, 2017 at the TVO Hall in Ubly.
