Miss Seana M. Block, 26 of Bad Axe, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2016 in Ubly due to injuries sustained in a car accident. She was born on February 4, 1990 in Sandusky, MI to Thomas Block and Andrea Habitzruther. Seana was a 2008 graduate of Bad Axe High School. She was employed at Weltin Meat Packing from 2010-2011. She was then employed at the Huron County Medical Care Facility from 2012 until earlier this year. Seana then began working as a CNA for Reliacare Home Health Services of Caro. Seana enjoyed movies, tacos, pizza and spending time at the beach. Seana was quick witted and incisive with enthusiasm for new friends and loyalty for old friends. She loved her girls, her cousins, her family and time spent with those who raised her. She was a big diamond with a few flaws, but that's how big diamonds are. Her future was limited only by her short time here on earth. We can only speculate what she might have accomplished had she reached her full potential. She was drawn to the unique, the off kilter, and had her own specific sense of self. Most who know her loved her fiercely and her absence will unbalance our world. Seana is survived by her two beautiful daughters, Raegan Garrett and Eliana Galbraith, both of Bad Axe; her father, Thomas Block and his wife, Becky of Minden City, her mother, Andrea Jackson and her significant other, Daniel Theisen of Burtchville, MI; two sisters, Ashley Block of Ruth, Jordyn Sams and her husband, Ethan of Norfolk, Virginia, two brothers, Connor Studer of Norfolk, Virginia and Travis Irwin of Port Hope; grandparents, Eugene & Colleen Block of Minden City, Doug and Linda Howard of Port Hope; great grandmother, Lucille Maschke of Bad Axe; Seana’s longtime friend, Nicholas Galbraith of Texas. Seana was preceded in death by her brother, Cory Block; her stepfather, William C. Studer Jr.; grandparents, Arthur Habitzruther and Dorothy Zeildorff; great grandfather, Ben Maschke. A celebration of Seana’s life will be 4:00 pm Saturday, July 16 on Huron Line Road, one and an 1/8 mile east of Ruth Road. Memorials have been requested for Seana’s family, c/o Smigielski Funeral Homes.
