Lorraine Wills

Mrs. Lorraine Wills, 93 of Ubly, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the Huron County Medical Care Facility in Bad Axe. She was born on September 24, 1922 in Ubly to the late Alma and Gertrude (Harriott) Davis. She married Gerald E. Wills on December 6, 1940 in Ubly. He preceded her in death on July 19, 1996. Lorraine attended Appin School. She farmed with her family and was employed at Hamill Manufacturing for 16 years before retiring in 1980. Lorraine was a member of Good Sams Chapter 48. She enjoyed travelling and gardening. Lorraine is survived by two sons, Gary E. Wills and his wife, Joan, of Port Austin, Thomas J. Wills and his wife, Barbara of Chattanooga, Tenn., one grandson, Raymond McGee of Florida, one granddaughter, Rhonda McGee Ulfig of Ubly; three great granddaughters, Vanessa Ulfig of Saginaw, Kelsey and Madeline Ulfig of Ubly; one sister, Fay Ballagh of Cass City; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Davis, one sister, Reva Silver, one sister-in-law, Violet Davis. The memorial service for Lorraine Wills will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, May 18th at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly. Lay Speaker Dede Russell of the Elkton United Methodist Church, will officiate. Visitation with Lorraine’s family will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:30 am until the service at 1:00 pm.
