Marcia Sue Auker

Marcia Sue Auker of Mt. Morris lost her courageous 5 year battle with cancer on May 11, 2016 at her daughter’s home surrounded by family. She was born November 14, 1949 in Flint Michigan to the late Dale and Viola Lamrock. She married John Woycik on June 27, 1995 in Fenton. Marcia began working at GM Truck and Bus (UAW 598) in Flint shortly after graduating from Flushing High School in 1967. She would later receive her CDL and drive truck as well as school bus for the Bad Axe Schools and Flint Community Schools. After Marcia retired, her and her husband, John managed an apartment complex in Mt. Morris where they resided. Marcia enjoyed cards, ceramics, square dancing, Western TV programs, music, especially Elvis and Patsy Cline, the casino and spending the holidays with family. She is survived by her husband, John Woycik of Mt. Morris, her only child Autumn Fibranz (Darel Sweeney) of Cass City, 3 children, Tina Woycik of Mt. Morris, Ernest Woycik (Joy) of Flint, and Adam Woycik of Detroit, 14 grandchildren Zachery, Andrea, Xavier, Clover, Nicole, Akiah, Carter, Connor, Britton, Gavin, Paige, Haley and Madelin, special grandson, Xander, great-grandchild,Avion, her brothers Robert Lamrock (Delores), Ronald Lamrock, sisters-in-law, Shirley Lamrock, Linda (Dave) Bolinger, Joyce (Roger) Kenrick, Beverly (Dave) Walline, brothers-in-law, Terry (Rosie) Woycik, Roy Woycik, Charles Woycik, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Dale Lamrock, sister-in-law Susan Lamrock and brother-in-law Philip Woycik. A memorial service will be for Marcia will be 7 pm Tuesday, May 17 at the Rossell Funeral Home at 307 E. Main St., Flushing, MI 48433 with visitation from 4-8 pm. Memorials are requested to the Family Discretionary Fund.
