Jane Ann Pagel

Mrs. Jane A. Pagel, 73 of Palms, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Autumnwood of Deckerville. She was born on July 17, 1942 in Port Huron to the late Robert and Doris (Young) Scott. She married Wayne Pagel on April 23, 1964 at St. John Lutheran Church in Palms. Jane was a graduate of the Deckerville Community School. She worked at Deckerville Die Form for 45 years, before retiring in 2005. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Palms for 64 years where she was a Ladies Aide. Jane enjoyed horses and was on the 4-H Horse Committee. Jane is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Wayne Pagel Sr. of Palms; three sons, John and his significant other, Debbie Mitchell of Wadhams, Wayne Jr. of Minden City, Scott (Tammy) Pagel of Sandusky; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy (Don) Weeks of Deckerville; one brother, Don (Tina) Scott of Caro; two sisters-in-law, Pamela Scott of Deckerville, Karen Scott of West Branch. Jane was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Scott Jr. and Ronald Scott. The memorial service for Jane will be 11:00 am Monday, November 9th at St. John Lutheran Church in Palms. Pastor Henry Hales, will officiate. Burial will be private at a later date. Visitation will be on Monday at St. John Lutheran Church in Palms from 10:00-11:00 am. Memorials have been requested to St. John Lutheran Church, Cemetery Fund or the Ladies Aide Society.
