Kenneth Bukoski

Mr. Kenneth Bukoski, 60 of Ubly, passed away Monday, June 16, 2014 at McLaren Bay Region after a short illness. He was born on August 26, 1953 in Bad Axe to Joeva (Franzel) Bukoski and the late Harry A. Bukoski. Kenneth was a graduate of Ubly High School. He was an over the road cross country driver for various trucking companies including local trucking companies until 2004. He also owned and operated Ken’s Trucking Company for 5 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing euchre. Kenneth is survived by his son, Ken Jr. and his special friend, Sherry Pionk of Owendale; his mother, Joeva Bukoski of Ubly; three brothers, Carl and his wife, Sally of Midland, Joseph and his wife, JoEllen of Cass City, Vincent and his wife, Kelly of Ubly; two sisters, Mary Osentoski and her husband, John of Ubly, Joann Volmering and her fiancé Eric Holdwick of Harbor Beach; one grandson, Kelton Bukoski of Sandusky; many aunts, uncles nieces and nephews. The funeral service for Kenneth will be 7:00 pm Thursday, June 19 at Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly. Rev. Charles Hammond, pastor of Good Shepherd Parish in Ubly will officiate. Burial will be in St. John Catholic Cemetery in Ubly. Visitation will be at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly on Thursday from 3:00-9:00 pm. Memorials have been requested to the Family Discretionary Fund.
