Allen B. Kubacki

Allen B. Kubacki, 62, of Bad Axe, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2014, at United Hospice in Marlette after a short illness. Allen was born on April 22, 1951 in Bad Axe. Son of the late Irwin E. and Marie T. (Wolschleger) Kubacki . He never married. Allen attended the Huron Learning Center and participated in several Special Olympics. He liked to do crafts, enjoyed hugs and listening to polka music. Allen was always smiling and happy to see everyone. Allen is survived by Uncles and Aunts: Albert and Helen Wolschleger of Harbor Beach, Ben and Vange Wolschleger of Harbor Beach; Gertrude Wolschleger and Doris Wolschleger both of Harbor Beach and Della Wolschleger of Parisville. Mary Ann and Eugene Wisneski of Bad Axe, Mildred and Eugene Lamke of Parisville, Florence “Pat” and Lawrence Vogel of Minden City, Rose Mary and Thomas Wisneski of Warren, Aloysius Jr. “Rufus” and Joann Kubacki of Bad Axe, Bernard and Pauline Kubacki of Bad Axe, Beatrice Kubacki of Ruth. Mass of Christian burial for Allen and his mother, Marie Kubacki will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at St. Hubert Parish, Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bad Axe. Rev. Robert Howe, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation for Allen and his mother will be at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly on Sunday from 2:00 until 9:00 P.M. and at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the mass at 11:00 A.M. There will be a Parish Vigil service at 7:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Hubert Food Pantry or United Hospice of Marlette.
