Floyd Bernard Tenbusch, age 74 of Harbor Beach, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 19, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on September 4, 1938 in Sherman Twp., son of the late Allen and Bernice (Carmen) Tenbusch. He was united in marriage to June Ann Norton at Saint Anthony Church in Helena, Michigan on December 29, 1959. After forty years of services at Wagners/Tantons Construction he retired and started his own business, Tenbusch and Son’s Excavating. After 12 years he could still be seen smiling in his bulldozer enjoying what he loved to do. Floyd and June attended the Bad Axe Free Methodist Church as active members. He enjoyed sharing his faith and love of Christ with others through his many gifts that God has blessed him with. He loved being in the beautiful outdoors that his Lord and Savior created. Floyd enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing and playing in the dirt along with dancing, playing cards, and cooking. However, his greatest joy came from spending time with his loving wife and adoring family. A smile would come to his face when he was able to share his interest of the outdoors and his strong faith in God with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Floyd is survived by his loving his wife of 53 years, June, three children; Paula (Chris) Winkel of Harbor Beach, Diane (Neil) Messing of Bad Axe, and Floyd (Lois) Tenbusch of Ruth; ten grandchildren, Anna (Mark Klawon) Winkel of Ubly, Wanda (Jeff) Skinner of Filion, Richard (Naomi) Winkel of Harbor Beach, Angie (Scott) Krueger of Cass City, Nathan (Danielle) Messing of Owendale, Jenny (John) Learman of Harbor Beach, Jessica (Scott) Dalton of Grand Rapids, Corey (Rachel) Messing of Pigeon, Travis Tenbusch of Ruth, and Nehemiah Messing of Bad Axe; eleven great-grandchildren; Tyler, Emily, Isaiah, Dylan, Olivia, Boaz, McKayla, Jeremiah, Miriam, MaRiyha, and Micah. Also survived by his four siblings, Allen (Patricia) Tenbusch of Jonesboro, IN, Russell (Diane) Tenbusch of Port Huron, Marcela (James) Walters of Harbor Beach, and Michael Tenbusch of Harbor Beach, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; Allan and Bernice Tenbusch: father-in-law and mother-in-Law; Earl and Hazel Norton, and niece Mary Cipollone. Floyd would like to thank everyone for supporting him and his family during his battle of cancer.
