Jennifer Anne Virant

Jennifer A. Virant, 39 of Ubly and formerly of Garden City, passed away suddenly Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at the Huron Medical Center in Bad Axe. Jennifer was born on September 9, 1973 in Oak Harbor, Washington to Charles and Marilyn (Hilton) Virant. She was a 1992 graduate of Garden City High School. Jennifer is survived by two children, Asha and A.J. McKinney; her parents, Charles “Chuck” & Marilyn Virant of Ubly, three sisters, Dawn Eisenscher and her husband, Doron of Farmington Hills, Kimberly Howery and her husband, Darrell of Garden City, Deborah Young and her husband, Jerry of White Lake; her significant other, Eric Mausolf of Ubly. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, George & Bernice Hilton, paternal grandparents, Charles and Clara Virant, maternal great grandparents, Sylvester and Rose Dropeski. Mass of Christian burial will be 10 am Saturday, March 23 at St. John Catholic Church in Ubly. Rev. Joseph Griffin, pastor will officiate. Burial will be private at a later date. Visitation will be at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly on Friday from 2-9 pm and Saturday from 9-10 am at St. John Church only.
