Mr. Donald J. Osentoski, 52 of Elkton, passed away suddenly Saturday, May 19, 2012. Don was born on April 1, 1960 in Bad Axe to Donna M. (Booms) Pulcer and the late Henry A. Osentoski. He lived in the Thumb his whole life. Don was a 1978 graduate of Ubly High School. He worked at Tower Industries for 27 years. He owned and operated Mid-Michigan Silo for several years. Don was an avid sports fan, truly enjoying all sports. He was an offroad enthusiast and enjoyed snowmobiles, 4-wheelers, and Nascar. He also enjoyed playing cards and reading. Don is survived by three children, Jennifer Aviles and her husband, Scott of Bay City, Brandon Osentoski of Bay City, Cari Jo Osentoski of Ubly; his mother, Donna Pulcer and her husband, Raymond of Harbor Beach; his brothers and sisters, Steve Osentoski of Ubly, Janice Lee of Salt Lake City, Utah, Cheryl Evangelista and her husband Al of Saginaw, Craig Osentoski and his wife, Kelly Jo of Bad Axe, Denise Mattern and her husband, Don of Canton, Andrea Mercer and her husband Mike of Saginaw; step-daughter, Jessica Essenmacher of Parisville; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded by his son, Cory Osentoski. The funeral service will be at 7 pm Tuesday, May 22 at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly. Jean Booms, I.H.M. will officiate. Visitation will be at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-8 pm. Memorials have been requested to A.A., S.A.D.D. or the Family Discretionary Fund.
