Barry A. Reid

Mr. Barry A. Reid, 52 of Harbor Beach passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012 at the Marlette United Hospice Residence. He was born January 7, 1960 in Harbor Beach to Margaret (Murray) Reid and the late Louis Reid. Barry was a graduate of Harbor Beach High School. He attended drafting classes at St. Clair Community College in Port Huron. He worked in building construction and an automotive factory. He loved fishing and hunting. Barry is survived by two daughters, Abigail and Andrea; two grandchildren; his mother, Margaret Reid of White Rock; 5 siblings, Elizabeth Booms and her husband, Ray, of Ruth, Gwen Peyerk and her husband, Ken of Harbor Beach, Louis Reid and his wife, Rita of Harbor Beach, Robert Reid and his wife, Linda of Harbor Beach, Sharon Kramer and her husband Lloyd of Harbor Beach. Memorial Mass for Barry Reid will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 10 at Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church in Harbor Beach. Rev. William Spencer, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in White Rock Cemetery. Visitation with Barry’s family will be at Our Lady of Lake Huron Church in Harbor Beach on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the mass at 11:00. Memorials are requested to the Family Discretionary Fund. Care has been entrusted to the Smigielski Funeral Home in Minden City.
